Foil Laced Crystal ✢ Ice

About This Piece
Formed through traditional lampworking, each bead is meticulously crafted by melting fine Venetian glass around a glowing steel mandrel and encapsulating delicate slivers of silver foil within the molten glass.
The heat of the kiln leaves subtle textural imprints and organic surface marks on the glass cross-sections, conferring a mesmerizing, one-of-a-kind depth to every single bead. Strung along a clean surgical steel base, it provides an exquisite textural statement whether worn on the wrist or ankle.
Each piece is made-to-order through a thoughtful hand-weaving process.
-
Craftsmanship Note: Microscopic surface variations, fine scratches, and subtle fire marks near the bead openings naturally result from the high-temperature glassmaking process and reflect the authentic mark of artisan craftsmanship.

Made in small runs by hand, each piece begins with a single material and a question about how it wants to be worn. The studio works slowly, keeping what matters and letting the rest fall away.
