About This Piece
The Potion series transforms the silhouette of test tubes, inspired by the imaginative workspace of a witch brewing potions. Designed for versatile display, it functions beautifully as a hanging vase or a vessel for hydroponic plants.
Created in collaboration with artist Arem Kim of aum, the series pairs a ceramic body with handcrafted brass rings and sculptural metal accents. The metalwork draws motif from traditional herbal ingredients used in medicinal alchemy, such as angelica root, licorice, and gardenia.
